Taren obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in History from the University of Colorado. She was admitted to the Oklahoma bar in 2013 and went on to practice primarily in civil litigation matters involving personal injury, medical malpractice, bad faith litigation, insurance defense, and contract disputes. She moved to Lawton, Oklahoma in 2017 and worked at the Comanche/Cotton County District Attorney's office where she furthered her courtroom advocacy and trial experience. Taren is a seasoned litigator and is admitted to practice in all Oklahoma state courts, the Western, Eastern and Northern District Courts of Oklahoma, and Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. She is a past president of the Comanche County Bar Association and is an active member of the Lawton Chapter Ambucs. Taren's practice focuses on civil litigation, personal injury, medical malpractice, guardianships, family law, business litigation and formation, property issues, estate planning and probate, and title opinions.
